Kilimanjaro 7 days Machame route is highly recommended for high altitude acclimatization gain.Though the climbing can be done in a minimum of six days (five nights) on the mountain. However, it is most often tackled over seven days (six nights), for a better altitude acclimatization schedule. The success rate is significantly higher when using the seven day route. With an approximation of 62 km/ 37 miles from gate to gate. It is designed for physically fit people with some hiking experience, but plenty of first time trekker use the route as well and do just fine.

One of Kilimanjaro’s main advantage is that, you do not have to be a mountaineer to conquer it. Whoever you are, you do not need a single piece of mountain climbing equipment or any prior climbing experience to summit the highest mountain in Africa. With good hiking boots and determination, you can make it to the top.
But that’s by no means to say that climbing this astonishing natural wonder will be a walk in the park. It is a grueling climb, often trying cold weather conditions, on uneven terrain and exposed to the elements. But we can assure you that the sense of achievement and the view from the summit will be well worth all the hard work. In the meantime, here’s what to expect along the way.
Great game drives for a diversity of wildlife in the national parks, historical sites and Ngorongoro conservation area.
Arrive in Tanzania via Kilimanjaro International airport (JRO) Kilimanjaro Brothers staff will pick you up and transfer to Moshi town where you will spend the first night at a hotel. Those who will arrival through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Kenya, we will pick them and transfer by Riverside Shuttle bus to Moshi.
Drive to Machame Gate (1,640 meters or 5,380 ft) and Climbing to Machame Camp/Machame hut (2,850 meters or 9,350 ft)

Climbing from Machame Camp to Shira Camp 2 (3,810 meters or 12,500 feet)

Climbing to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters or 19,341feet) and descend to Mweka Camp (10,000ft)

Descend from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate (1,640 meters or 5,340 feet) 3 – 4 hours and distance 10 Km or 6 Miles. Transfer to the hotel for summit certificate and cerebration party. Overnight at Park View Inn.
Total distance covered is: 62 Km or 37 miles.
Transfer to airport or continue with a safari.

After breakfast the driver guide will drive from the hotel to Tarangire National Park, 4 hours drive from Arusha to Tarangire, Tarangire is the third largest National park and sanctuary for and usually has large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are interested of the park; dwarf the animals that feed beneath them.
Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, and up to six thousand elephant.

After breakfast begin a safari towards Serengeti National Park. A picnic Lunch will be provided.
On your way to Serengeti will stop at the Olduvai Gorge where the anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originate in Africa.
After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and proceed with a game drive and overnight at

Serengeti Central Camp as the name suggests, is situated in the central part of Serengeti Seronera. This is a very scenic area with open plains, and lined up with hills.
The resident game here is phenomenal, with high densities of relaxed leopards, cheetah and lion.
The migration passes through here in April/May, but Seronera is within reach of both the Southern Plains and the Western Corridor – so from about November to June, it can be used as a base to see the migration.
Early morning game drive to see nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue with game-drive in Crater.
The lodge is situated at an altitude of 2,200 metres, a few hundred metres back from the rim of the Crater.
What it loses in terms of outlook over the Crater, it more than makes up for with its views of untouched high montane forest with Mount Oldeani (3,200 metres) dominating the background, and Mount Makarot in the distance (3130 metres).
Stretching across 8,300 square km of dense forest, vast grasslands, and a multitude of stunning craters and lakes, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to the famous Ngorongoro Crater.
After breakfast you will descent into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with picnic lunch) within Ngorongoro Crater on world Heritage site holding a permanent population of more than 30,000 animals. As only very few of those migrate in and out of crater with its 2000 ft, high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. The crater is also home of the rare black rhino almost extinct in Tanzania. With a bit of luck, you will see the “Big Five” during the game drive overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge
